In today’s modern wastewater treatment plants, meeting high standards in effluent quality, cost efficiency and odor control is a must. Monster screen offers incredibly high capture rates and removes a wider variety of solids, particularly small debris, better than traditional bar screens.

Decanter Centrifuge

Decanter Centrifuges are used in separation of the solid-liquid or solid-liquid-liquid suspensions. The machine consists of a solid cylindrical bowl rotating at high speed, a scroll rotating in the same axis with a slightly different speed, gear box adjusting the speed difference and the body which carries all the rotating elements.

Decanter Centrifuges are used in many industrial applications such as:

  1. Oil/Solid Separation (Oil Well Drilling, Refining, De-watering)
  2. Industrial and Biological Wastewater Treatment
  3. Food Processing (Olive Oil, Wine, Fruit Juice)

Case Study: Seria WTP, Brunei

Seria Water Treatment Plant receives raw water from the Badas Pumping Station and converts it to drinking water. The plant has been without a sludge treatment facilitiy and requires a design and built desludging facility which can be easily operated and maintained.


Greendex have design and built a dewatering system consisting of 2 sludge thickeners and 2 units centrifuge decanters, 1 unit Teknofanghi polymer dosing system which are supplied and installed in the Water Treatment Plant.


The Decanter Centrifuges have proven to be an efficient method of sludge dewatering and resolving the plant’s accumulated sludge from backwash water and sedimentation tank.


Scrudrain Sludge Thickener

Sludge thickeners are widely used in many wastewater and water treatment plants. Sludge thickeners are also used to increase the sludge concentration for biogas reactors, thus enabling the use of smaller biogas reactors or just as filters to remove coarse material such as fibres in the textile industry. They are generally placed before filter presses, belt press and centrifuges to achieve higher sludge concentration before final dewatering

Scrudrain Teknofanghi Scrudrain

Greendex proposes SCRUDRAIN® dynamic thickeners with Archimedean screw as the modern and economical solution for sludge thickening. The concentration of D.S. in the outlet from the sludge thickener can be achieved by changing the speed of the Archimedean screw (e.g. sludge with 0.5- 3.0% D.S. can be thickened to 5.0-15.0% D.S.).

Standard SCRUDRAIN® sludge treatment equipment is made of AISI 304 stainless steel.

Monobelt Press

It is considered the new generation of belt filter presses. The Monobelt Press is composed of two units, the pre-thickener and the sludge press.


The pre-thickener performs the initial solid/liquid separation stage, taking sludge solids concentration from 0.5-3% up to 5-15 %. The dewatering in the press occurs firstly in the low pressure zone, then in the wedge zone and finally in the high pressure zone where the filter cake is compressed between the perforated cylinder cloth and the main cloth. The discharged sludge cake can reach dry solid contents variable from of 18 to30% depending on the sewage sludge.

Teknofanghi Monobelt Teknofanghi Monobelt

Greendex has the experience and team to assist you in the design, supply and installation of a complete Monobelt dewatering system. The benefits of Monobelt is:


  1. Integral with thickener and able to take in low solids content sludge
  2. Very long life endless belt which reduce in maintenance cost
  3. Small footprint
  4. Negligible maintenance

Monobelt is a cost effective method of dewatering.

Teknobag Draimad Dewatering

For dewatering the sludge produced by small W.W.T.P., Greendex proposes TEKNOBAG®-DRAIMAD®.


This system dewaters in bags and stores the sludge of every nature. The heart of the system is the original filtration bag TEKNOBAG®-DRAIMAD®, which permits to reach 15-30% dry solids content after only a few hours and 50-80% of dry solids after open storage and drying.


The largest module can treat up to 20m³/day of sludge depending on the sludge.

The right management of this unique and patented dewatering system depends upon the special module realised in stainless steel AISI 304, projected to optimise the filling of the bags and to simplify all moving operation.


To be able to satisfy all the necessities of the W.W.T.P, the modules are available in various models, starting from the manual modules with 2 bags up to automatic ones with 12 bags and pressurised dewatering.
